SIOBHAN

a folk horror exploring themes of religion, grief, and control. Working alongside Co-Art Directors Priya Sri-Rangan and Lucy Martin, I assisted the art department with prop making, set dressing, and coordination.

Project 1

DOGHOUSE

I worked as Production Designer and Producer on DOGHOUSE, taking charge of designing, prop building, and location scouting, as well as scheduling and managing cast, crew, and contributors. Working on these films with the Anteroom team was a huge learning experience, both creatively and professionally. I loved the challenge and creative freedom of collaborating within a small, close-knit group, an experience that continues to inspire me to pursue larger, more ambitious projects in the future.

      About Me

      I’m Charlie, a maker and scenic carpenter working across film, TV, and theatre. With a background in art and design and a First Class BA in Film & TV, I’ve always been drawn to building worlds and supporting teams in bringing their ideas into reality.

      At university I co‑created Anteroom Studios, winning the RTS Yorkshire Student Television Award for Production Design. After graduating I worked across a range of creative and practical roles in the North West such as scenic carpentry and art at my local theatre in Wales, production design for small‑budget productions, and locations/set decoration with Lime Pictures on Hollyoaks.

      After moving to London, I joined DRS Construction as a scenic carpenter. Working with their construction team taught me industry‑standard building techniques, technical drawings, and how high‑end sets come together from start to finish. I’ve worked in workshops, garden studios, Black Island Studios, Pinewood Studios, Troubadour Studios, and on locations across London.

      I love designing, making, and problem‑solving — anything that turns an idea into something physical. I’m always looking to collaborate with teams who value creativity, craftsmanship, and practical thinking.
